Express Trailers Unveils New Cross-Dock Facility to Enhance Pharma Services

A €600,000 Investment in Cutting-Edge Logistics Solutions

Express Trailers is excited to announce the completion of a significant milestone in our logistics capabilities: the inauguration of a new €600,000 temperature-controlled warehouse and a state-of-the-art cross-dock facility. This new infrastructure will further elevate our capacity to handle pharmaceutical cargo with the utmost care and efficiency.

Expanding Our Pharma Logistics Network

Located adjacent to our head office, this new development is the latest addition to a strategic expansion plan that began in 2013. Our first two temperature-controlled warehousing facilities, also built with pharmaceuticals in mind, laid the groundwork for our commitment to supporting the pharmaceutical sector. These facilities are designed to ensure that sensitive pharmaceutical products are stored and transported under optimal conditions.

The new warehouse adds 350m² of storage space, allowing for the accommodation of up to 600 pallets. Combined with our existing facilities, we now offer a robust and comprehensive logistics solution for pharmaceutical products, meeting the highest standards of EU pharma ‘good distribution practices.’

Supporting Malta’s Growing Pharma Sector

Express Trailers is proud to serve over 110 businesses within Malta’s pharmaceutical industry, a sector that represents 18.9% of the country’s total exports.
